Music, Fashion e Religion Do Mix at Pope Benedict’s Alma Mater.

Great success for the “Opening” global live concert performance in London’s Westminster Cathedral.

Sold out at Westminster Cathedral, the most important temple of England Catholic, for the launch concert of the Alma Mater with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the choir of the Accademia Filarmonica Romana accompanied by solo singer Yasemin Sannino dressed by italian designer Michele Miglionico.

The Italian-Turkish voice Yasemin Sannino is the only solo singer in the album “Alma Mater”, to sing with the help of the  Pope Benedict XVI’s voice in the marian prayer of the song “Regina Coeli” (a piece composed by Maestro Stefano Mainetti) who for the occasion wore a scarlet evening dress in Chantilly lace and iridescent organza from the Michele Miglionico Haute Couture line.

The album contains eight original tracks of prayers, litanies, marian songs, ethnic music and Gregorian chants obtaining an elegant and modern mix that has received acclaim  from  Pope Ratzinger.

In this operation was attended by the Italian composer Stefano Mainetti, the englishman Simon Boswell and moroccan Nour Eddine: a catholic, an agnostic and  a muslim.

The proceeds from the sale of the album will finance some projects of musical education in favour of poor children around the world.
